This class is for children ages 2-4 who are ambulatory but have a variety of diagnoses that cause them to be delayed in gross motor skills. Children can participate in this class with one of their parents to assist them throughout the activities. This foundational age is often the time period where gross motor delays are first noticed. It is our goal here at Obstacle Crushers to aid in creating a strong foundation for gross motor skills in order to set them up for success later on in childhood. With a heavier focus on gross motor skills acquisition and total body strengthening, children will reach milestones at a much faster pace in a more intensive environment than one on one therapy can provide. At the same time, these children will be working on social skills, turn taking and learning how to follow directions. Class size up to 8 children. Manatees will meet twice a week for one hour each session.
